Road Trip to Idaho Falls- September 23, 2014

The Used and Taking Back Sunday were playing a show in Idaho Falls, which is only about 4 hours away from UT. So us girls decided to make the trip and catch the show!  We left at 6 in the morning in order to get there, and be in line at the venue to get a good spot for the show. Good thing we got there so early, we were the first ones in line, and ended up being front and center! Right behind us in line, there were 2 girls from UT, and their mom who drove them out for the show (Mom of the year!) They mentioned their mom couldn't go because they couldn't afford 3 tickets, so I gave her mom the extra ticket I had as opposed to selling it. I'm so glad I did, they were by us at the show and they all had a blast! After the show, we drove back home. I'm so glad we went, and I would do it again in a heartbeat- however, in my old age, I don't think I am cut out for not sleeping for 24 hours :)

Tattoo Progress- September 15, 2014

Today I went in and started the work on the portrait of my mom on my leg next to the one of my dad :) 4 hours down! I'm hoping I only have about 4 hours left!

State Fair- September 14, 2014

Today was the last day of the Utah State Fair, so we thought we better head on up there!

           

School Pictures- September 12, 2014

Jaylinne is getting into the phase where she wants to pick out her own clothes. Most days, I am willing to compromise with her and help her out so she doesn't look like an orphan. However, picture day is NOT one of those days! I am so picky when it comes to pictures, there is little compromising to be done ;) I picked out her outfit for her, and she was beyond upset that she couldn't wear what she ad picked out. I told her one day, she would look back at her pictures and thank me!

 Her choice of outift? I'm glad you asked! A black and pink dress that looks like it came straight out of 1987, a jean vest, denim shorts UNDER the dress and sticking out the bottom, and black cowboy looking boots with Gold accents. Haha! She is still a beauty no matter what she wears though :)
