First Graders Know How To Party!

I was in charge of planning the class Christmas party this year. One of the moms I had asked to help couldn't make it, so my mom came to fill in. The kids were supposed to wear their pajamas to school, and Jaylinne was so surprised when her best buddy showed up in the same ones as her! Matching jammies?! NO WAY!

They played Santa bingo, decorated graham crackers with frosting and sprinkles, made candy cane reindeer, and had story time. Unfortunately I didn't get to take a lot of pictures, but the kids seemed to enjoy it! Grandma was a big hit! :)

Jaylinne's First Grade Christmas Program

All of the first grade classes put on  Christmas program at school this year. I got there about an hour early to make sure we got good seats to take pictures and videos. It worked! What cuties :) I can't even imagine how difficult it must have been for the teachers to teach them all the songs and movements. Props to them!

Family Pictures- December 14, 2013

Since my dad's health is rapidly declining, we decided we would try and get the family together to take some pictures. Greatful we did :)

I couldn't have picked a better family! Love, love, LOVE these hooligans!

Christmas Party- December 6, 2013

Each year, out friends have a Christmas party. Usually it is at MK's house, but since we have more room now, we decided to throw it at our place. Because of that, we ended up putting up our decorations a little earlier than normal.

As most of you know, if my husband didn't know how to cook- we would starve. This year, I tried  making a few snacks! I failed. Miserably. However, once Laura came to my rescue, it was smooth sailin'! We made chocolate dipped pretzels, and santas made out of strawberries and a cream cheese dip. They turned out cute! So cute, in fact, that I had a hard time eating them ;) They each looked like they had their own little personalities.

Usually, I am the one taking all the pictures, but Ryan's friend from work took the camera over. He got lots of pictures!
