Playoff Season Is Here Once Again!

Last night was the first leg of playoffs for RSL. I have to admit, with a new coach, I had zero expectations of making it this far. We play LA twice; once here and once there. Even though it was windy and rainy out, we still met up with friends before hand to tailgate. We had chili, salad, and baked potatoes for dinner. We sure know how to do it right! By the time the game started, the weather was actually ok! The sky looked amazing! We didn't win...but at least we didn't lose :) Fingers crossed for leg 2 in LA!

Happy Halloween!

I was in charge of Jaylinne's Halloween party in school again this year, and it was a success! Ryan got a new camera that shoots amazing quality, so I had him come shoot the party for me!

This year Jaylinne dressed up as Queen Elsa, from the Disney movie Frozen. If you ask me, she ROCKED her costume!

I decided I wanted to be an owl this year, so I made my costume, and a matching mask to go with it.

Laura decided to be a sugar skull, or a Day of the Dead girl. She got temporary tattoos for her face, and I cut them out and put them on for her. I think they turned out awesome!

After school, we went with Laura, Ryan, and the kids over to Mom's house to pay her a visit. While we were there, we thought it would be a good chance to take some family pictures of everyone in their costumes!

When we left Mom's house, we went over to Mike and Juliet's house for trick or treating! They live in a big neighborhood with lots of houses, so we usually decide to go in a big group and do it at their house. It was a great night!

Girls Day at Lagoon

Ryan was recording at Joel's studio all day today, so Jaylinne and I decided to hit up Lagoon with Michael, Kandi and Jimmy for Frightmares. So fun!

Haunted Half- October 25, 2014

Every year, Provo city hosts a half marathon called the "Haunted Half." It is, obviously, Halloween themed, and sometimes people even dress up to run it! Ryan and and his friends, Ben Smith and Ben Walker, decided to run it together. This is Ryan's second half marathon he has ran- and they've both been this year!

The Bens both live in Salt Lake, so instead of waking up super early and driving all the way down here before it started, they decided to come stay the night at our house. They woke up early in the morning and headed out before it was even light outside. Jaylinne and I, and the Bens' families were at  the finish line waiting for them. I am so proud of these guys! They didn't train for it, and still managed to finish it in 2 hours and 33 minutes! How amazing is that?!
