Today, my little one went to her first day of first grade. FIRST GRADE?! How and when did my baby get to be such a big girl?! A couple weeks ago, her teacher, Mrs. Heaps, called and asked if she could come over to our house and meet Jaylinne. Jaylinne loved it! And her! I am nervous, but she just seems excited! I'm not sure what I am going to do with 6 hours of free time each day! I need a job ;)
When we got to school, everyone was outside! It looked and sounded like a big party! I thought it was a cute idea to get the kids excited for a new school year :)
After she got home from school, she said she had a blast! When I asked her what her favorite thing was, she said eating lunch in the cafeteria and getting 2 recesses. Two recesses?! Looks like first grade might be such a bad deal after all ;)
